About CGP
The Center for Green Politics is a citizens' association focused on education, development, and promotion of green politics and the green idea. The mission of the Center for Green Politics is to support the creation of a just, democratic, ecologically, and socially sustainable society. A society that is in harmony with nature, where nature is not viewed as a resource but as a common good.

The Center for Green Politics focuses its work on three program areas
Education about Green Politics
In order to expand knowledge about green politics, we develop and implement various educational programs. Our political education programs aim to empower people to take a key role in driving the socio-ecological-economic transformation.
Development of the Green Idea
Through research, analysis, creation, and development of strategic proposals and practical policy suggestions, we contribute to the development of the green idea. In this process, we collaborate with experts, activists, organizations, political actors, the academic community, and anyone who wants to join in creating a socially just and environmentally sustainable society.
Support for Local Groups
Change comes from the local level! In order to build a society based on solidarity, equality, and ecological wisdom, we support all those who fight daily in various ways for these and similar goals.

Five Measures to Improve the Legal Framework for Animal Protection in the Republic of Serbia
A turning point in the field of protecting non-human animals in Serbia was the adoption of the Animal Welfare Act in 2009. Within this law, Serbia introduced a number of measures that had already demonstrated success in other European countries. This research examines five measures whose implementation could improve the state of animal welfare in Serbia and beyond. Some of the proposed measures are put forward precisely because they could enhance the implementation of existing provisions, which are already included in the upgraded legal framework.

This publication explores early lessons and opportunities for shaping a green transition that truly serves the public interest.

The Raw Materials Rush
This publication highlights how the EU approaches the use of resources from other countries, most often from the Global South. It outlines the mechanisms the EU uses to access these resources under the most favorable conditions for itself, often at the expense of the countries from which the resources originate. In addition, the publication provides an overview of the necessary changes that would make the negotiations and agreements the EU enters into with resource-rich countries fairer and more beneficial for the countries whose resources are being exploited.
